Every successful business starts with experience, and ours began long before APT Machining & Molds Ltd. was founded.

Before opening APT in 2010, Ruben Parodi spent more than 20 years working for mold-making companies across the Greater Toronto Area. He later attended Seneca College, where he further developed his expertise in CNC machining and precision manufacturing. Throughout his career, Ruben built extensive knowledge in plastic injection moulds, precision machining, and the craftsmanship required to manufacture high-quality components.

In 2010, Ruben founded APT Machining & Molds Ltd., and from day one, his son Sebastian Parodi joined him in building the company. Working side by side over the years, they've combined decades of experience with a shared commitment to quality, precision, and customer service.

As the company grew, so did its capabilities. While plastic injection moulds remain a core part of the business, APT expanded into general CNC machining, supporting customers in industries such as manufacturing, automation, and industrial equipment. Over the years, the company has completed work for businesses of all sizes, including projects for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and other organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Today, Ruben and Sebastian continue to operate APT as a family-owned business, providing everything from custom machine parts and 3D mould surfaces to small-scale production runs, component repairs, and general machining services. Whether it's manufacturing a complex mould, repairing a worn part, or machining a one-of-a-kind component, every project receives the same level of care and attention to detail.
